Two years ago, Olympic Steel reached a significant milestone in our diversity efforts by establishing employee-run ONE OLYMPIC Team Subcommittees. These individuals volunteered to take part in this work, in addition to their regular job duties, because they each wanted to make a positive impact on our Company.

Q: What motivated you to become a ONE OLYMPIC Team Member?

A: I am passionate about this team because I truly believe we need a diverse group of people to sustain our business and to infuse the organization with fresh ideas.

Q: Share a unique fun fact or characteristic about yourself.

A: In my free time, I like to hike trails with my pups.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about being an Olympic Steel employee?

A: My favorite thing about working at Olympic Steel is working alongside great people.

Q: In your opinion, what's a simple action everyone can take to make our Company a welcoming workplace?

A: Include the people around you! Be kind and make them feel welcome.

Q: When it comes to work, what’s your superpower? What special skill do you offer to support your co-workers/team?

A: I think my superpower is being able to look at things from different perspectives and offering up solutions that fit employees’ needs.
