Open Enrollment for 2026 Coverage
All employees must complete the Open Enrollment process – whether you’re making changes or not – to have benefits in 2026.
Open Enrollment begins TODAY, November 3!
PRODUCTION EMPLOYEES:
As a reminder, production employees will have in-person meetings. The dates/times for each location’s meetings are posted locally. If you don’t know what day your meeting is scheduled for, please see your Supervisor or HR Generalist.
ADMINISTRATIVE EMPLOYEES:
Open Enrollment information was sent via email, including a link to the Open Enrollment video. If you’re an administrative employee who has questions or need help with the process, you can attend any of the FOUR sessions below to get help and answers to your questions:
- Tuesday, November 4: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Thursday, November 6: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Monday, November 10: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Wednesday, November 12: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Meeting information was emailed to administrative employees, with calendar invites attached. Select the date/time that works best for you and RSVP from the invite to ‘copy’ it to your calendar.
PLEASE NOTE: The Open Enrollment video will NOT be shown during any of the four sessions above for administrative employees. Click the link below to watch the video BEFORE attending any of the Q&A sessions.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
- DEPENDENTS: Bring Social Security Numbers and birth dates for ALL dependents you want to include on your plans
- SPOUSE: If your spouse has primary medical coverage through their employer, your spouse must enroll in that plan as primary; Olympic Steel’s plan will only pay as secondary.
- EMAIL: After enrollment, your confirmation statement will be sent to the email you provide – be sure it’s current and you have access to the account.
- MAILING ADDRESS: ID cards will be mailed to your address in the system. If the address is not correct, fix that during Open Enrollment.
- BENEFICIARIES: To designate a beneficiary for company-paid life insurance policies, you need their name, relationship to you and allocation amount.
