Open Enrollment: What to Expect
Open Enrollment is your chance to add or remove benefit coverage for the new plan year. Everyone must complete the process in UKG and if you have enrolled dependents, you'll need to provide required documentation for the dependent audit.
Open Enrollment is an annual opportunity to make changes to your benefits coverage without experiencing a qualifying event (a major change in life circumstances that often requires a change in coverage). More information will be shared during the Open Enrollment presentations at your location, but before you attend a meeting – here’s what you need to know to be prepared for the Open Enrollment process.
- Open Enrollment is from Monday, October 26 through Friday, November 13
- The process is completed in your UKG account, via the Benefits tab.
- This is an ACTIVE ENROLLMENT. This means everyone must complete the process, even if you don’t have any changes. If you do not complete the process by the deadline, you will not have benefits coverage in 2027.
- The HR Team will lead the process, similar to previous years:
- Warehouse Team Members will have in-person meetings at all locations (dates/times to be communicated locally)
- Administrative Team Members will have access to a recorded presentation and an opportunity to attend one of several online Q&A sessions
- NEW! Every few years, we ask enrolled employees to help us audit dependents enrolled in MEDICAL COVERAGE ONLY. If you have dependents (spouse or children), you’ll need to provide documentation of eligibility when you complete the Open Enrollment process:
- Spouse: Marriage certificate OR front page of current year tax return
- Child/ren: Birth certificate, front page of current year tax return, official court document showing legal custody/guardianship; for stepchildren – a marriage certificate along with one of the other documents listed
