In 2023, Olympic Steel reached a significant milestone in our diversity efforts by establishing employee-run One Olympic Council Subcommittees. Q: What motivated you to become a DEI Council Member?
A: I believe employee involvement is crucial for developing and improving a Company’s culture.
Q: Share a unique fun fact or characteristic about yourself.
A: I am an early bird. My best time of day is 4am, so my friends and family have their cell phones on silent!
Q: What’s your favorite thing about being an Olympic Steel employee?
A: Olympic Steel has Core Values that align with their employees to help them achieve personal goals and expand their opportunities within the organization.
Q: In your opinion, what's a simple action everyone can take to make our Company a welcoming workplace?
A: Bring a smile and a positive attitude. They create a healthier, happier work environment where employees collaborate well and feel comfortable working together.
Q: When it comes to work, what’s your superpower? What special skill do you offer to support your co-workers/team?
A: Persuasion – getting the projects done by using my charming personality! (That’s why I’m in Sales!)
