Our Core Values and Shared Responsibilities

Our Core Values and Shared Responsibilities help guide decisions, strengthen accountability, support collaboration, and create consistency across our growing organization. They are part of our everyday experiences - from how we recognize great work and develop talent to how we support each other and serve our customers. They are the foundation of the culture we are building together.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the introduction of our Core Values - principles that continue to guide our decisions and behaviors as an organization.

With our newly merged company and 25 years to reflect on, we embraced the opportunity to do something important: step back, listen, and take a fresh look at how our Core Values show up in real day-to-day decisions.

We also asked a straightforward question: How do we make our Core Values easier to understand, more consistent across the enterprise, and more reflective of how we live these Core Values - without losing what matters?

We used this opportunity to refresh the structure and language we use to communicate our Core Values so the expectations are clearer across our combined company.

These Core Values and Shared Responsibilities reflect what is important to our teams. And they are just as important to our organization.

Why are some ideas combined? Because certain expectations are inseparable in practice. For example, “Customer Commitment” must show up through reliable “Quality” and strong “Teamwork” / “Integrity” only exists when “Respect” is non‑negotiable.

Why name “Responsibilities” separately? Because these are commitments we must continually uphold as a company. These have been part of our culture and identity, and they remain non-negotiable.

They are all represented. And, they have not been replaced.

Our Core Values & Shared Responsibilities as ONE COMPANY

Together, our Core Values and Shared Responsibilities will help guide decisions, strengthen accountability, support collaboration, and create consistency across our growing organization. They will become part of our everyday experiences - from how we recognize great work and develop talent to how we support each other and serve our customers. They are the foundation of the culture we are building together.

What’s Next

As we continue our integration journey, we'll bring our Core Values and Shared Responsibilities to life through team stories, recognition, and practical examples. They will also help shape our combined company policies and programs. And we’ll ask for your feedback along the way.

In the meantime, we encourage you to read more about what our Core Values and Shared Responsibilities mean here.

Bringing together a Family of Companies with deep histories, unique cultures, and proven best practices will not happen overnight. This work will take time. With a clear set of Core Values and Shared Responsibilities to guide us, we have a strong foundation on which to build our future as ONE COMPANY.
