What's in a Corporate Responsibility Report?
We published our 2024 Corporate Responsibility Report on June 2. Find out why and what we aim to accomplish with this annual publication.
A Corporate Responsibility Report (CRR) is a comprehensive document that outlines a company's efforts and commitments to social, environmental, and economic sustainability. It serves as a transparent account of our impact on various stakeholders, including employees, customers, communities, vendors and the environment.
Corporate Responsibility Reports usually include specific content related to governance, compliance, sustainability and social impact. Our report includes all of that and more – it’s like Olympic Steel’s yearbook! Here’s a bit of what you’ll find in our 2024 CRR:
- A message from our Executive Team
- An overview of the business, including a brief history and our focus for the future.
- 2024 by the numbers – financial and safety data
- Our commitment to culture – safety, cyber security, employee engagement and recognition, Corporate Citizenship, the Chairman’s Citizenship Award and our 70th Anniversary
- Our impact on the environment and responsible operating procedures
Publishing a Corporate Responsibility Report demonstrates our commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible business practices. It can enhance our corporate reputation, build trust with stakeholders, and attract socially responsible investors and customers.
We highlight as many special moments as we can, using the photos you send to CompanyCommunications@olysteel.com throughout the year - so keep the photos coming!
