McCullough Industries Celebrates 60 Years

On May 20, the McCullough Team gathered to reflect on their past, appreciate their present and celebrate their future.

In 1965, Wright McCullough started McCullough Industries in Kenton, OH. Originally a front loader and plow manufacturer, the company eventually produced hoppers and, today, is one of the largest producers of hoppers in the United States.

Olympic Steel acquired McCullough Industries in 2019. Since then, they have introduced seven new products – bump-release and quick-attach hoppers, as well as the new products launching this year: stackable totes, hooded hoppers, spill-containment, dust-collection and front dumping hoppers.

The strong tradition established by the McCullough family combined with Olympic Steel’s Core Values has positioned McCullough Industries as a well-respected and actively engaged partner in the Kenton, OH and Hardin County communities.

McCullough has accomplished a lot in 60 years and looks forward to continued growth in the next 60 years and beyond.
