Mental Health Awareness Month
Olympic Steel provides no-cost resources to help employees and their family members manage mental health.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This year, we're helping you take time to take care of yourself with a free webinar on May 8 (Mental Health & Me), available to all employees, and some scheduled time for a little fun with Minute to Win it games.
NOTE: Game times vary by location; see your HR Generalist or the posted flyers at your division (pictured at the bottom of the page) for more information.
Join the National Alliance on Mental Illness to raise awareness and fight the stigma associated with mental health. Provide support, educate the public, advocate for policies that support mental health or simply just learn more.
If you’re managing mental illness, you don’t have to do it alone. Olympic Steel provides no-cost resources to you through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and partnership with Health Advocate to provide confidential counseling services to Olympic Steel employees and their families. Services that help address stress, relationship and other personal issues you or your family may face, including:
- Stress, anxiety and depression
- Relationship/marital conflicts
- Grief and loss
- Substance abuse
