Resources to Support Mental and Emotional Wellness

During Mental Health Month, here’s your reminder that Olympic Steel employees and their families have access to confidential mental health resources and support through our programs and benefits.

Mental Health Month is a reminder that taking care of your mental well-being is just as important as taking care of your physical health. Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, grief, relationship concerns or simply trying to balance everyday responsibilities. The good news is that support is available, and you don’t have to face those challenges alone.

HEALTH ADVOCATE

Olympic Steel offers resources to support employees and their families through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and partnership with Health Advocate. These confidential, no-cost services are available to help with a variety of personal and emotional concerns, including:

  • Stress, anxiety and depression
  • Relationship or marital conflicts
  • Grief and loss
  • Substance abuse

Health Advocate provides confidential counseling services and support whenever you need it. Assistance is available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week by phone at 877.240.6863, by email at answers@HealthAdvocate.com or online at
HealthAdvocate.com/members. You can also use the mobile app to access helpful articles, tips, webinars and tools anytime.

Health Advocate also offers monthly wellness webinars to help you manage everyday stressors in your work and personal life. This month’s webinar is titled “Mental Health & Me” and helps you explore strategies to manage emotional health as well as understand where and when to seek help. Click here to view available webinars and bookmark the page – it’s updated as often as new webinars are scheduled.
